VOLUNTEER!

In 2018, Priroda Public Institution began to create volunteer programmes with the help and support of the BIOM Association as its partner, and the volunteers are accommodated at the Centre. To improve volunteer programmes, Priroda Public Institution made the application with the European Solidarity Program for obtaining quality marks at the Visitor Center Beli. After a successful evaluation, the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs has awarded the Institution “Quality Label for Volunteering” as a volunteer’s recipient. The Quality Label confirms that the organization has the capacity for quality project implementation in accordance with the quality standards and rules of the European Solidarity Program program, which will contribute to the quality of the Center’s work, and to enable young people to get acquainted with the rich biodiversity of the island of Cres and the conservation measures and efforts to preserve the Griffon vultures.
